![]() These are the characters that appear in the story but are not major characters. They are the ones that appear fleetingly but are intersting enough to draw or may have some relevance later in the plot (we'll see) or at the very least, later in the world when I develop it further. MysanthropiThis travelling group of rather unusual creatures befriend Aeturnis on her long walk to Eriwyn.

RoseSpecies: MouseStanding at only a few inches high, Rose would not strike you as a very formidable foe. She is rather less morphic then most Furrae, and thu flat-chested. It is suspected she may in fact be an Aenimal (a sentient animal) that has taken to wearing clothing and acting like a (very small) Furrae. At any rate, her paws are very dextrous, which is useful because she carries a tiny crossbow strapped to her back (it shoots tiny poisoned darts) and a sharpened, metal toothpick hangs in a scabbard at her waist. For all her small size, Rose is not as sweet and gentle as she normally behaves but is in fact a highly skilled thief. Her constant companion is Keerah, a kestrel and also an Aenimal. There is surely an intersting story behind how the two came to be friends, but that is for another day! Rose's fur is pure white, marking her as an albino, but her eyes are dark, defying that. She dresses in the leather skins of lizzigs (a small but predatory reptile) that she has slain herself. In nature she is generally very kind and gentle, but if her friends are troubled or betrayed, her ferocity knows no bounds and she will defend them with as much courage and determination as one many times her size. She travels with Mysanthropi acting as a scout (and also if need be, a thief) and amazing audiences with her strange control over the large and fearsome predatory bird.

Julius LoweSpecies: Lycaon (African Wild Dog)Julius is an African Wild Dog (Lycaon) rock musician that performs in a power doom band called Aeternity. He is an Elysia worshipper (Elysia being the God of light and goodness) and thus will have her symbol tattooed upon his shoulder blade (left). The symbol is a stylised sun - a circular spiral with points radiating from it. The tattoo is made by shaving off the fur and engraving the symbol into the bone, when the fur grows back, the fur coming through the tattoo grows back discoloured, making it visible and permanent. He is older, like in his late 30s, but handsome never-the-less with long shoulder-length hair that is somewhat curly and blond (think "glam rock" style). His eyes are "twilight" ie: purple and he should have a moderately arrogant cast to his fetures. You know the deal ^^ Being a Lycaon, is fur is a rich pattern of gold, black, brown and white. There is no set pattern for these markings so arrange them how you will, aside from his face in which he has a dark facial mask and a stripe radiating from between his eyes to between his ears, disappearing into his hair. He should be wearing at least one dangling earring, also in his left ear. the patch on his back in which the tattoo sits should be white and horse-shoeshaped. He's a rock musician of a popular band performing on their reunion tour. The Goddess Elysia promotes enjoyment of life and fairly loose (ie: open adn frequent) sexual relations and thus he should likely have a somewhat flirtaeous, arrogant look in his eyes. If it's too difficult, don't try too hard though! He is a lyrical mage - which means once he starts singing, his voice almost lures everyone in the audience to fall a little in love with him. This isn't a particularly strong or rare talent and is found in many human musicians today, despite the lack of magick in this world. It's all to do with charisma and that he has in bucketfuls.

Khristian JohanssonSpecies: White WolfKhristian is (err, was) the guitarist for Aeternity. He is in his mid 30s and of midling build, he's not skinny, but he's not muscular either. His fur is thick ivory-white, with tips of yellow-gold around his ears, back and tail. When appearing in concert, he has a phoenix painted into the fur about his face. His piercing blue eyes gaze forth from its wings. His hair is long and copper red and fairly stright. Sometimes he braids it. He wears a copper-red charm about his neck in the shape of a spiral with points radiating from it - this is the symbol of Elysia. Feel free to riddle his ears with earrings too. One of the younger members of Aeternity, he is rather a "lady's man" although not as arrogant as Julius. He's friendly, sometimes almost too friendly but can take "no" for an answer.

GrimalkynSpecies: Cheshire Lemur-CatThe Chesire Cat of the Furrae World, the Grimalkyn has no mortal form and instead travels via the medium of dreams, carrying messages between the Rainbowlands (the world of the dead) and the mortal realms. Whilst gender is unclear, there is something about this creature that makes it seem male and ir resembles, somewhat, a cross between a cat, tarsier, racoon and possibly a ferret. His ears are long like those of an aye-aye and his fingers are the clammy frog-toes of a tarsier. Purplish-blue fur covers most of his body, save for his pink facial mask, the rings on his tail and the candystriping on his legs. Each leg is candy striped in the opposite fashion so that one hand is pink, the other purple and the same on the back, but in the opposite way (so that the pink paws are diagonally opposite). He is never still and if forced to remain in one place will fidget restlessly. His eyes are blue and pupilless, flaring bright when he is annoyed. If the Grimalkyn visits your dreams (and he does not often take the time to notify the sleeper of his presence), you will often awaken to see the fading image of two glowing blue eyes. In dreams he talks telepathically, but in the Rainbowlands his voice is like that of a flutes - musical and pure and as enigmatic as he. He will never say straightly what cannot be said in riddles and rhymes and takes quick offence if someone does not appear to understand them. Whether he is good or evil is unclear, for whilst he has been known to work for Elysia, goddess of life, he does have a certain perchant for mischief and has been known to stir up situations just to see what will happen. Whilst he normally appears as mostly animal, he can assume a morphic form if he so choses.

Nightwish/DaedreamSpecies: Maned Wolf SuccubusNamed after the band, Nightwish takes the form of a golden Furred Maned Wolf. Her body is slender, willowy and covered in tattoes, each representing a symbol of magic and many of them somewhat arcane and not necessarily benevolent. These appear as black markings in her fur, but if she were to be shaved they would be carved into her skin - such is the way that tattooing works in the Furrae world. Her hair is long and lustrous black, so long she can sit upon it. Her eyes also are entirely black. She wears no clothes, save for a few items of jewellery which nicely frame her perfect bosom (not too big, not too small). Her tail is split in twain near the tip. She is a succubus and thus able to turn to shadow on a whim. When she reappears, the shadows settle behind her, forming the shape of a cloak or perhaps wings. She is cruel and possessive and very seductive of both males and females although she is not, repeat NOT, a hermaphrodite, she is capable of assuming incubus form, appearing as an extremely beautiful male called Daedream. Daedream has fur that appears black, but reflects rainbows in the light (like oil or a starling's feathers). His fur is likewise adorned with golden mystic symbols and his golden mane of hair falls to his waist and his eyes are golden. Whereas Nightwish is calculating and cold, Daedream is friendly, cheerful and rather charming. The forms change with the hours of the day, so that during the daylight hours she is Daedream, but during the hours of darkness, Nightwish.
