Welcome to the Fiction of Halcyon (or is it fact?...)

The Seven Keys (1997)

 This is the story that began it all - Halcyon that is. Initially it was based on the Helloween song "Keeper of the Seven Keys", but along the way it deviated somewhat! I also later found out that in fact the song is about Jesus. Ah well. And yes, the story does somewhat resemble LOTR in some respects... something I didn't realise when I wrote it, all those years ago.
Warning: Long and involved story! If you have limited time, it can be read 1,2,5 or 1,2,3,5 without losing too much of the story.

Our story begins in the little town in Carillion - when a drug-addicted youth is given a dangerous mission.

* The Web of the Darklord
The Quest continues, with a parting of the ways.

* Realm of the Elves
Johann must travel through the deadly realm of the elves, else all is lost!

* Never Contradict a Dragon
Those that are left behind must fight for surivival as the armies of darkness descend. There is only one method of help available...

* Hades
Can our hero save the world before all becomes a desolate wasteland of ice and snow?

Legend of the White Wolf (revised 2001)

 This is probably one of the most disturbing stories (not in a sexual or particularly violent way, just disturbing...) I've ever written - eight years in the writing! I'm rather pleased with it in an uncertain way, so if you read it, please email me. IT is also rather long, but don't let that daunt you!

Dark Wings - My Cursed Life (1999)

 This was found in a tattered notebook in an ancient temple, hidden in the Everlasting Forest. It tells the tale of an extremely troubled young man and the crimes he committed.
It is the life story of Corvid Martenez, whom some of you will remember from role-playing.

BloodSong (1999)

 What happens when a fey Windwalker comes across an insane and injured elf? What can be the result? Read and find out!
This was an entry in an Erotic/porn competition that never got judged. You must be 18 or over to read it.

Shadow Dancing (1999)

 An Icarian lass saves an injured human, at great cost.

The Unfamiliar Familiar (2000-1)

 The story of a young boy who must undertake an epic journey to win the heart of his love. Written, I fear, after reading too much Piers Anthony and given up after 30+ pages. Some months later I pulled it out again and realised that having put so much time into it I had to finish it, so I did.
Unfortunately, it seems to combine too many poitns from "Stardust" by Neil Gaiman and "His Dark Materials" series by Philip Pullman, meaning as original stories go, its not really publishable. But still a fun read!
